Mid-fielder Stanislav Lobotka was awarded this Thursday at A Madroa the trophy for being the Estrella Galicia player of the month in December. He has been voted by fans on the club’s social networks.
Of all the votes cast on Twitter and Facebook, 75% were for the Slovakian national player, while 16% voted for Hugo Mallo and the remaining 9% for goalkeeper Rubén Blanco.
One of the owners of Bar Caballo, Alberto Estévez Álvarez, was responsible for giving the fourth edition of an award that each month rewards, according to the votes cast by fans, the best player during that period. Of all the participants voting, two lucky sky-blue fans have won two double-tickets for the league match against Betis: Daniel Ruiz (who voted for Lobotka on Twitter) and Inma Gómez (who voted for Hugo Mallo on Facebook).
On his behalf, Alberto Estévez has been acknowledged as Estrella Galicia hotelier of the month of December and received on behalf of Lobotka a Celta official jersey signed by all the teams players.
The Celta player was very happy to receive the award and was surprised since in december many of his teammates also played very well- The midfielder thanked the fan’s support and assured he will keep working hard to help the team and scale positions on the leaderboard.
