Lucas Olaza collected this Wednesday in A Madroa the award for the Estrella Galicia Player of the month of November, his first trophy as a footballer of the RC Celta. The left-footed winger got 46% of the votes cast by sky blue fans through the club’s social networks, followed by Iago Aspas with 33% of the votes and Néstor Araújo with 21%.

The Uruguayan defender received the trophy from Antonio Vazquez, owner of Tapería Las Tablas and showed his appreciation to the fans for having named him last month’s best player. Luis Sousa was also present in representation of Estrella Galicia.
Looking ahead to the next match against Mallorca, Olaza valued it as “an opportunity to play a good match and show what we are capable of”. The Charrúa defender used the occasion to give the fans a warm thank you. “They gave us a lot last season, always supported us in difficult times and is a fundamental part to get all the points we need,” he concluded.
