The scan performed on Rubén Blanco this afternoon has revealed that his left Achilles tendon has not been damaged, although he suffers a peritendinitis (swelling of the tendon sheath) that will sideline him for 10 to 15 days.
In the following days the player’s training load will be reduced and, depending on his evolution, he could return to the team’s training sessions next week.
