RC Celta fell to Real Madrid on Saturday (2-0) in a match that was decided by the punch of the white team. Both sides had opportunities to open the scoreboard before Isco did so midway through the second half.
The first half started with misfortune for the sky-blue team, which lost Juncà after a few minutes due to an unfortunate injury. The team managed by Fran Escribá was well settled on the pitch and enjoyed several clear chances. The locals also had dangerous finishings, but the game came to half-time with a scoreless draw.
Real Madrid took control of the match after half-time and managed to get ahead on the scoreboard thanks to a team play play finished by Isco. RC Celta tried to equalise the match in the final stretch, although they were unable to beat Keylor Navas. The whites extended their advantage with a goal from Bale.
