Bad second half condemns a promising Celta at Quinocho tribute match (1-2)

The XXIII Memorial Trophy Quinocho was full of emotions. To the traditional homage to the eternal player and manager Joaquin Fernandez Santomé ‘ Quinocho ‘ in the form of a match, the official presentation of the first team and the youth categories and a surprise tribute to Hugo Mallo were added. In the second part Celta slowed down, something that the visiting team took advantage of to take the win. Sergio had a performance defending the Vigo goal, but finally, Mainz 05 managed hit the back of Celta’s net. De Blasis scored the definitive 1-2.

The match saw the debut of Moroccan international Sofiane Boufal with Celta. The skillful attacker entered the field in the second time and left several quality details.
