RC Celta lost to SD Eibar (2-0) in a match in which the sky blue could not feel at ease at any time. The home side scored twice at the start of the second half.
The first half was characterised as even. Eibar strung balls in the area and RC Celta defended firmly. Fran Escribá’s players struck some dangerous counter-attacks but could not convert them into a goal.
In the second half the home team scored two goals thanks to the goals of Edu Expósito and Orellana. The sky-blue pressed to reduce the difference but it was not possible.
