RC Celta gets a well-deserved draw against Real Madrid (2-2)

RC Celta

RC Celta got a remarkable draw on Sunday at the Santiago Bernabéu against Real Madrid (2-2) in a match where Santi Mina put the draw in the last minutes.

Real Madrid had the possession of the ball in the first half but it was RC Celta who took the lead through Smolov, who finished off a great assist from Iago Aspas. The home team accumulated a number of strikes over the next few minutes, although it was Celta who could have extended the lead through Aidoo’s header that was cleared by Courtois.

In the second half the white team equalised the match with a goal by Kroos from inside the area. As the minutes passed, Real Madrid locked RC Celta in their area and accumulated a number of arrivals in the area and Ramos turned the score around from the penalty spot. In the final stretch, Denis Suarez produced a masterful assist and Santi Mina scored the final equaliser.
