Real Club Celta takes a new step in its constant evolution and search for opportunities. The club from Vigo enters the world of e-Sports with its inscription in the next season of eLaLiga Santander, the official EA Sports FIFA 20 Global Series competition in Spain in which 33 First and Second Division clubs will participate.
eLaLiga Santander will start next February with an online qualifying stage in which thousands of fans will compete to become part of a club. Since Tuesday 17 December, all fans who want to be the official player of Real Club Celta in the competition can register through the official website of the competition (www.elaliga.gg).
Next February 15, Madrid will host the Kick Off that will give the starting whistle to the season of the competition, where, exclusively, the representatives of the clubs will be able to win their first points for the general classification of the competition. From that moment on, two online tournaments will be held in which players will be able to register through www.elaliga.gg and participate in order to fight to reach the second on-site tournament, Mid Season, which will be held in Barcelona during the month of April.
With the arrival of the month of May, eLaLiga Santander will reach its final after holding its third online tournament during the month of April. Next May 9 Madrid will host the grand final of the official competition of EA SPORTS™ FIFA 20 Global Series in Spain where the champion of this third season will be unveiled.
Real Club Celta takes an important step to cover a remarkable demand among its youngest fans, the entrance of the club in the world of e-Sports. With the Draft organized by LaLiga, any celtista will have the opportunity to compete to become the first official videogame player of the sky-blue club.
