RC Celta loses in Vitoria (2-0)

RC Celta

RC Celta lost to Alaves (2-0) on Sunday in a match in which the Vitoria side was much more effective. Fran Escriba’s men tried it throughout the 90 minutes but they were not lucky enough to score.

The first half was marked by the VAR. First by intervening in a goal scored by Santi Mina that was annulled because of offside and shortly after by correcting the referee, who had signalled a penalty in favor of the locals by a non-existent hands by Rafinha within the area. Iago Aspas, Santi Mina himself and Joselu had the clearest chances in the first 45 minutes.

The second half began with a goal from the Basque team from a corner. From here the sky blue team enjoyed several occasions that could not be converted and it was Lucas Perez who put the final 2-0 on the scoreboard.
