RC Celta has signed Peruvian midfielder Renato Tapia, who ended his contract with Feyenoord on June 30th and will sign until 2024. The sky-blue team adds thus physical deployment, ball recovery and speed with the addition of the South American international.
Renato Tapia (Lima, 1995) was trained in the youth teams of Dutch club Twente, from where he arrived at Feyenoord, one of the great teams of the Netherlands. In Rotterdam, the Peruvian midfielder played around 60 matches, including a dozen in the UEFA Europa League, and won one league and two Dutch cups.
Tapia is a full international with Peru, with whom he has played fifty games and participated in the last World Cup in Russia and two Copa América.
The new RC Celta player stands out for his physical display, which allows him to recover many balls in each match. In addition, he has a great passing technique and is powerful when heading.
