Sisto gets a PhD in assists with Denmark: to the 2018 World Cup!

Denmark thrashed Ireland in the second leg match of the 2018 World Cup second round qualifiers. The Danish won solidly 1-5. Sky-blue player Pione Sisto stood out: he played from the start and delivered two assists. He played the full match, a historic one in which he has endorsed his presence on his national team.

Stanislav Lobotka was also key. The Slovakian scored an outstanding goal at the full time mark, giving his national squad the win in a friendly match against Norway.

In Austria, Maxi Gomez played the final minutes for Uruguay in a loss against the local team. The “charrua” striker entered the match at the 74 minute mark, substituting Cavani.

As for club-trained players Iago Aspas and Ivan Villar, neither had playing time yesterday. The Spanish national squad got a 3-3 draw against Russia and the Under-21 national squad thrashed Slovakia 5-1, remaining undefeated in the EURO group phase.
