Sofiane Boufal: technical skills, dribbling and polivalence for Celta’s attack

RC Celta has closed the signing of Moroco national player Sofiane Boufal, a 24 year-old player who lands in Vigo from English team Southamptom. He is a player with good technical skills, with great dribbling abilities and can play well on the wings and other attacking positions. Once he passes the medical tests, Boufal will be included in Celta’s roster on loan for one season.

Sofiane Boufal (París, 1993) grew up as a player in the youth teams of Angers and reached the French club’s first team, with which he played for in the French second division. In 2014 he played in Ligue 1 for Lille, where he played 51 matches in two seasons in cup and league play. In the summer of 2016 he went to the English Premier League, where he has matured as a player in Southampton, including 2 in Europa League. As a Moroco national player, he has played 6 matches.

Boufal becomes Celta’s fourth signing for the 2018/2019 season after signing left back David Juncá, center defender Néstor Araujo and midfielder Okay Yokuslu. The new baller will be presented to fans next week..
