Special scarves, confetti, a gesture for the players… in a packed Balaidos for a unique match

Balaidos will experiment this Thursday an extraordinary atmosphere, with all the game tickets sold out for this historic first leg semifinal match of the Europe League against Manchester United. RC Celta will also carry out for this singular clash several activities in the stadium in order to generate the best atmosphere, in accordance to the of the match.

The club will hand out at the access gates of the stadium, for free and until they run out, thousands of scarves commemorating the leg with the shields and names of the two teams competing.

 

There will also be several confetti cannons placed in the both ends inside the stadium, which will go off when the players jump on the pitch, making a spectacular effect.

 

At the top part of the Grandstand a couple of giant canvases will be placed dedicated to to the players who have led the team to this historic semifinal.

 

Moreover, the Abanca headquarters is displaying an enormous canvas and banners in all of its offices with the motto “This is Afouteza”. These same panels may also be seen in several council sports facilities, hotels, hospitals…

 

Besides, several of the city’s educational centers will experience a special day. The club has promoted a ‘skyblue Thursday’ for children to go to class with clothes of that color and for schools to also display skyblue decor.

 

The club encourages fans to get to the stadium with enough time in advance, not only because of the security checks common in these kinds of games, but also to be able to take part in these activities and support the team as much as they can.
